To cancel your Forex Card, we request you visit your nearest Standard Chartered Bank branch and place a request towards cancellation of the card. Your request will be processed within one working day of us receiving the request and the available balance on the card will be refunded back to your account. There are no charges towards the cancellation of your Card. However, currency conversion charges as applicable from time to time will be deducted at the time of providing credit to you. But to get a card issued, you will be required to show proof of a trip coming up. You can apply for the Canara Bank International Travel Prepaid Card at a bank branch, and you must be carrying a copy of your passport, airline ticket, and visa for travel. Once you get the card, it stays valid for 5 years, but as you’ll see in the fee section, you are charged if you don’t use the card at least once a year.¹
